Area 5: high-quality clinical, molecular, neurocognitive and pathophysiological research with a centre for clinical and therapeutic trials

Moving towards transitional research

FHU-TRANSLAD is promoting the transition from research to care so that patients can more rapidly benefit from ground-breaking technologies and from the development of new therapeutic strategies.
FHU-TRANSLAD's strength lies in its multi and cross-disciplinary approach to patients and to health, one which combines detailed phenotyping, the development of innovative genomic strategies and studies of functional physiopathology. Such organisation maximises the identification of new genes, as an ancillary understanding of their function(s) helps in the tailoring of patient management and in the development of clinical and therapeutic trials.
In so doing, FHU-TRANSLAD brings together research teams with specialisation in their respective areas to create national and international centres of excellence for patients and their families.

The focus areas of FHU-TRANSLAD scientific research

FHU-TRANSLAD is developing national and international research projects along 2 main lines :

  • Development of new multiomic approaches for identifying molecular bases of developmental disorder syndromes
  • Creation of a centre for clinical and therapeutic trials

Area 5 : Find

  • Introduction
  • Identification of molecular bases
  • Creation of a centre for clinical and therapeutic trials
